Highlight: The Chambray Shirt

Welcome to another blog series! In our Highlight series we will be showcasing a particular item and displaying different ways to wear it! Dressed up, dressed down, you name it! We hope you enjoy the very first post in this series… featuring The Chambray Shirt!

Chriselle Lim calls the Chambray Button-Up a season-less staple and we can sure see why! Click to see how she styles the chambray in both a casual and dressy look.

Continue reading this post to see three other cute ways to wear this versatile top!

Tuck a long-sleeved chambray shirt into a skirt that shows some legs for a classic, put-together outfit. Complete the look with a belt to further contrast your top from your skirt. Notice how season-less? The left outfit looks so summer/spring and the right looks cozy for the fall/mild winter.

Layer a cropped chambray over your outfit for dimension, color, and edge. We love the combo seen here: liquid black leather bottoms, delicate and flowy white top, and a cropped chambray with rolled up sleeves on top. The accessories also really add to the wow factor of this outfit!

A cute way to shorten the length of your chambray without tucking it in is to bow-tie it by the waist. This effectively cinches it in creating more shape to your outfit. The bunny ears and knotted bow are adorably playful! We love how these two bloggers paired their bow-tied chambrays with high-waisted shorts.

How are you rocking your chambray this season? We’d love to see so show us in the comments below!
